Leicester Deaf Club is offering a free online British Sign Language taster session to mark Deaf Awareness Week, which runs until MONDAY(MAY8).
There is only one available taster, on Friday next week (MAY12) at midday.
Approximately 11 million people in the UK are deaf or hard of hearing, so the introductory course aims to help attendees communicate through fingerspelling and basic signs.
No previous experience is needed, just a passion for learning and an interest in the deaf community.
