With Bristol Pride rapidly approaching, there can be only one question on everyone’s minds: Who’s performing? The Do They Know it’s Christmas Time man, that’s who.
Bristol Pride is set to happen between June 27 and July 12 this year, with an array of established acts set to perform.
Jason Donovan, Sister Sledge, best known for their hit song We Are Family, and RuPaul Drag Race’s Myki Meeks and Catrin Feelings are the main acts leading the lineup for The Downs on Saturday, 11 July.
Bristol Pride is one of the biggest Pride events in the UK, averaging 40,000 attendees each year, with people travelling from all over the country to attend.
Organisers stated the annual event “celebrates love, diversity, friendship and how far LGBTQ+ rights have come, but keeping in mind the places where there is still work to be done.”
Featuring parties, a parade, a festival, and hundreds of performers, the 2026 event will be one to remember, with Pride Day set for July 11.
As a registered not-for-profit charity organisation, Bristol Pride have explained “the genuine cost of a ticket sits at £52 and is available to buy for that price.”
However, for a smaller price of £18.50, general admission tickets are available to those who do not wish to pay the true price each person costs to host. There’s also a £22.50 fast track ticket and a £36.50 day and night fast track ticket.
The event holds a strict no alcohol policy, to comply with police and licence conditions.
Furthermore, the Parade March registration is now open to the public in preparation for taking to the streets in activism and awareness. In 2025, around 25,000 people joined Bristol Pride for the parade and the organisers aim for the same numbers this time round.
With a vibrant line up now out, people wanting to attend can expect a Pride to remember.
