Leicester is taking the first step into the holiday season with the annual Christmas lights switch on in Leicester town centre tonight (THURSNOV16).
The switch on, which is done once per year, has got the people of Leicester excited after a gloomy year for most, with a cost of living crisis in the UK alongside wars in the Ukraine and the Middle East, which have affected some people who live in Leicester.
