Up and coming bands from Leicester have independently put on an event to raise money for Centrepoint, a charity which helps young people who are facing homelessness across the UK.
Event organiser Ripley Harvey said: “They’re the leading UK homelessness charity who do a lot of good work for young people with homelessness.
“[It] seemed like a good idea, a good charity to raise money for.”
Bands Statics, Billobuckers and Dum Language performed on Friday(MAY3) at The SoundHouse, in Southampton Street, Leicester.
The music that was performed was majority Indie Rock and for some of the band members it was their first time performing in the city.
Ripley added: “It was a good night, a fun night supporting local music and a good charity.”
All the money raised on the night went towards the charity of choice.
