The Sustainable DMU team are raising money by hosting a hedgehog bake sale tomorrow (THURS,MAY4) and Friday.

The Great British Hedgehog Bake-off will be held in the Food Village on DMU’s campus and runs from 11.30am till 2.30pm.

The university is encouraging students and staff to get involved to raise awareness for the British Hedgehog Preservation Society.

All the money raised will be donated to the society.

Today (WEDS,MAY3), the group also arranged for the first litter pick of the year.

Ensuring that the hedgehogs stay safe came after several sightings of wildlife on campus last year, including badgers, foxes and deer.
