Severn Trent workers have been providing tips on how to save money on water bills to help De Montfort University students who are struggling during the cost-of-living crisis.

The water company visited the campus in Leicester on Thursday(NOV10) and gave students a range of tips on how to reduce the amount of water they use.
One of the Severn Trent workers said: “We know people are struggling during this time and we want to be able to help them in any way we can.”
In the coming weeks, the company will be offering free services that can save students hundreds of pounds a year.
They are offering free shower head installations and other free engineering support.
The water company is also selling water butts on its website to encourage people to try alternate ways to save money.
The drop-by session has been in place since October at the De Montfort University campus centre.
Students can view the company’s full range of water saving devices and request maintenance at stwater.co.uk/order-devices.
