Leicester Forest East Library announces upcoming events

by Liam Harris

Children’s activities are among a range of events being planned to be held in the coming months at the Leicester Forest East Library.

The LFE Community Library

Since its opening to the public in 2016, the library has thrived on being a part of the local community and special events are just one way that the volunteer-run library has done this.

On Saturday, April 9, between 11am and 2pm, the library will hold its Spring Fair, which will include stalls both indoors and on the library car park.

Visitors can look forward to finding a variety of things such as snacks, crafts, plants and children’s activities.

On Saturday, May 1, there will be a Plant Stall at the library, perfect for anyone with green fingers and an interest in the garden.

Saturday, June 4, will feature a Platinum Jubilee Celebration in honour of the Queen, while on Saturday, July 2, the library will host its annual Summer Fair.
