Leicestershire Police closed off a house in the city overnight after a body was discovered inside on Tuesday (24NOV) night.
Officers were called to the home in Abbey Court Road after 9:00 p.m.
The death of the man is being treated as unexplained. Forensic officers returned to the property the following morning to continue examining the scene.
The body of the dead man was finally removed that afternoon alongside several bags from the property.
