The number of new confirmed coronavirus cases in Leicestershire fell for the second day running yesterday (WEDNOV18).
There were 513 new cases recorded throughout the county in 24 hours.
Of these cases, 293 were in Leicestershire county, while 220 were in the city of Leicester.
Oadby and Wigston now has a higher per capita infection rate than Leicester city, with another 31 cases reported yesterday.
Leicester city has had 15,531 total cases of coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, when the government started recording case figures.
