A 100-year-old veteran has revamped his painting hobby during the COVID-19 lockdown in Leicester.
World War Two veteran, Leslie Posnett, from Leicestershire has relived his old family holidays through paintings in the pandemic.
He lives alone in sheltered accommodation and has been unable to have many visitors due to the Coronavirus restrictions.
To keep himself occupied, he recreated photos from his old sketch pads from family holidays in his past.
A selection of his work has been picked up by the County Council to be part of a virtual time capsule, to teach future generations about what life was like during the pandemic.
