Leicestershire pet supplies business Woofers and Fluffers is hosting its first ever event with a novelty dog show in Syston in April.
Owner Katie Stanley started the small business in August last year and hopes the event will be the first of many.
Katie said: “We are excited to be running our first ever Novelty Fun Dog show in April. I’m hoping to educate dog owners on the best products to use on their pets, as well as hosting a great fun day that all of their family will enjoy, especially the dogs.
“There will be lots of Novelty Fun Classes to enter on the day, so there really is something for everyone.”
The event will feature 14 different class awards with an additional Best in Show award for the class winners to enter. Cupcakes and other baked goods will also be available at the event.
Woofers and Fluffers offers handmade and bespoke pet supplies and is able to cater for a variety of animals.
Katie added: “I started Woofers and Fluffers when I adopted my first Romanian Rescue, Eviee. I’ve always had an interest in Animal Welfare and nutrition, and I have a BSc in Animal Biology.
“My interest in animal nutrition began with my late Collie X, Basil. He was very sensitive to certain ingredients in his food, which showed as behavioural issues. Since then, I have sought to only provide dog food of the highest quality.”
The event is being held on Sunday, April 5, at the Wreake Valley Academy in Syston. You can find out more information and register for tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/woofers-and-fluffers-pet-supplies-fun-dog-show-tickets-79923610671
