An iconic piece of Leicester has disappeared.
A mural of Claudio Ranieri, which was painted in honour of the manager who guided Leicester City to win a Premier League title in 2016, has been taken down from its famous spot.
Many locals were devastated by its absence, and some took to twitter saying “the streets don’t look the same.”
The restaurant Brucciani said it didn’t paint over it but instead has been placed in storage.
It says it is looking for a new home for it and is hoping that it finds one soon.
