The Met Office has today revealed that the forecast for Leicester has been revised after stating that the city could be hit with 10 hours of snow.
Weather warnings have been declared for some parts of the county, but it appears that Leicester could now avoid any major snowfall that may hit the rest of the country.
The only issues that have been reported so far in Leicestershire have been icy roads, unlike other parts of the country that have experienced road closures and runway closures.
The current weather warning for snow and ice now only applies to the southern part of the county.
