An exhibition of photographs taken by world-renowned photographer Mitra Tabrizian held at the DMU Gallery comes to an end this week.
Tabrizian grew up in Iran in the 1960’s and 1970’s but left the country just before the 1979 revolution.
The exhibition, which has run since September 14 and concludes on Saturday, October 27, is centred on Leicester and Leicestershire and the exhibition itself is the first time they are on display in the county they portray.
Her work has been on show in London, Toronto and New York with other exhibitions having taken place at the Tate Britain, Stockholm’s Moderna Museet and the Iranian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
