Museum of the Moon returns to city

The Museum of the Moon will display a detailed replica of the moon in the city once more from this coming Sunday (Oct28) until Wednesday, November 7.

The seven-metre model will be housed at Belgrave Neighbourhood Centre, located on Leicester’s Golden Mile.

The installation was previously displayed at Leicester Cathedral earlier this year.

It is set to accompany a rangoli art exhibition as part of the city’s famous annual Diwali celebrations.

The exhibition is free, so there is no need to buy tickets. Organisers of the event, encourage anyone who is interested to come along and enjoy the display.

There will also be some family friendly events running alongside the installation.
