ChocFest returns next month

By Ollie Churm

If you love chocolate, then the perfect festival celebrating the coco-derived luxury will be returning to Leicestershire next month.

ChocFest will be taking place at Melton Mowbray’s livestock market on Saturday, November 17, and Sunday 18.

The festival will feature all things chocolate, from chocolate cakes, pies, crepes, brownies, liqueurs, biscuits and even chocolate pizzas, kebabs, and beer.

A new addition for this year will be the dedicated spirits hall selling vodka, whisky, gin, rum and liquors.

Champagne truffle workshops can be booked in advance for adults and children, with Leicestershire-based chocolatier Nenette Chocolates – something sure to go down a treat for Christmas.

There will also be tutored tastings including gin and chocolate, and a full programme of talks and demonstrations in the ChocFest Theatre including a crab and white chocolate risotto by master chocolatier and chef, David Greenwood-Haigh.
