New Walk museum’s Dinosaur and Fossil Gallery is now licensed to host civil wedding ceremonies.
The galleries, which are dominated by a skeleton of a Cetiosaur, have been a long-standing favourite for wedding photos among couples tying the knot at the Victorian Gallery and Lord Mayor’s room.
Cllr Piarra Singh Clair, responsible for culture and leisure, said: “We’ve had lots of interest from people wanting us to make the Dinosaur Gallery available for weddings, so we’ve done the work to get it licensed.”
