Chloe Ennis, Barista at Milly Lane’s, said: “We are doing the cake sale here because it’s open to all students and we are supporting local charities.

“We are raising money for LOROS, RNIB and Asthma UK because LOROS is Leicester based and the others are linked to the university.”

LOROS Hospice is a local charity and every year we care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

They provide free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their family and carers.

Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), is the UK’s leading charity supporting blind and partially sighted people.

They offer practical and emotional support to those that need us, so they can continue living life to the full.

Asthma UK works to stop asthma attacks and, ultimately, cure asthma by funding world leading research and scientists, campaigning for change and supporting people with asthma to reduce their risk of a potentially life-threatening asthma attack.
