Station manager Jonny said: “I’m absolutely ecstatic with the results, it feels incredible that we’ve been named the best student television station in the whole of the UK for four categories.

“These awards are hugely prestigious in the world of student media and it’s very rare for a station to get more than one or two, let alone four!

“Our Best Broadcaster commendation really goes out to all of our members and anyone who has supported Demon TV over the past year, it’s you that makes the station what it is.”

The National Student Television Association (NaSTA) is the representative body designed and governed by student television for student television.

NaSTA awards date back to 1973.
