Wetherspoons outlets in Leicester are to host a nation-wide real ale festival.
Running from March 22nd to April 2nd, beers and ales from over 25 UK-based breweries and five international breweries from the United States, Italy, Brazil and the Netherlands.
Lisa Townsend, manager of The Last Plantagenet on Granby Street, said: “The ale festival is something that happens every six months, and has done for over 11 years.
“It is a really good way to get people into real ale, every year there’s a different selection of breweries on offer and it’s a really good way to try and get younger people trying something different to what they’d usually meet.”
