The AA have reported delays of up to nine minutes on Wigston’s Pork Pie roundabout as a result of last nights minimal snowfall.

Elsewhere, congestion on junction 29 of the M69 northbound between the M69 and junction 31 of the M1 have increased with delays of up to nine minutes.

Leicester has luckily missed most of the snowfall last night, although heavy snow is due just before midday. There will be some mild sunshine continuing throughout the afternoon. Between 1pm and 5pm the temperature will stay steady at -1 degrees, dropping to -3 after 7pm.
